Allison Waguespack is a devoted leader who embraces the balancing act of wife and mother, writer and speaker, teacher and coach. Her foundational professional resume as an advertising executive speaks to a broad range of experiences in the corporate world. That journey brought her to the threshold of the mindfulness arena- first through yoga and then on from there, she sought even higher ground.

Allison embarked on a professional career in marketing and spent a decade working in a creative and business capacity at advertising agencies in New York City and San Francisco (at the height of the boom); Wunderman Cato Johnson, Young & Rubicam, AKQA and Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Some of her high-profile accounts include American Express, Citibank, KFC, Kraft Foods, Palm Pilot, Goodyear Tires, Elizabeth Arden & Netflix.

Like many professional women, Allison reached a point of inflection after the birth of her first child. Corporate life shared the stage with her budding family and Allison began to expand her personal horizons by exploring Yoga. Ever ambitious, what started out as a way to bounce back into shape (mentally and physically) Allison decided to pursue Teacher Training with renowned Ashtanga Yoga Teacher (and personal instructor for the Grateful Dead), Master Larry Shultz.

Allison achieved her certification and found the work so fulfilling that she transitioned full-time away from the ad world and has been teaching yoga and mindfulness ever since. She began by teaching classes in San Francisco and when she relocated to New York City (her hometown) in 2008, she found an artistic home at YogaWorks Westchester.

An educationalist at heart, Allison has continued her training with renowned instructors David Swenson, Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Sarah Powers, and Jason Crandell; as well as completing a one-year Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers training program with Jason Ray Brown. Currently, Allison is in the process of completing an intensive two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Certification Program taught by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach and accredited through the Mindful Institute at the University of California at Berkeley.

In addition to her mindfulness work, Allison has co-founded and served on the advisory boards of several non-profit endeavors. Allison has spent the better part of the last decade serving on the Executive Board of the Irvington PTSA where she held several executive positions. She currently serves as a board member on the Tulane University Fund Advisory Board, her alma mater, and has also served as a board member on the Community Advisory Board for Irvington New York. This organization serves the broader town community and provides programming for both the school district, families in need, and senior citizens in the community. Allison is also a founding member of Heads Up Rivertowns, a community group formed to bring awareness, education, support, and advocacy to encourage a screen smart community in the current and changing age of technology. This group quickly expanded to include the towns of Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow over the first year after launch and has been instrumental in affecting policy changes regarding technology in many of those school districts.

Most notably, she was a founding member of a non-profit organization named Women of the Congo that to date has raised over $300,000 to support celebrated playwright Eve Ensler’s organization in building the City of Joy, a transformational educational leadership community for women survivors of sexual violence located in Bukavu, in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The endeavor has been so wildly successful that 1,562 women have graduated from the City of Joy. Its enormous acclaim sparked the production of an award-winning Netflix documentary.

The culmination of these life experiences inspired Allison to launch KLARITY MINDSETTE. KLARITY MINDSETTE teaches you how to apply techniques that are designed to cultivate the energy of your thoughts, and lead them to harness the captivating power of deliberate and conscious decision-making. Happiness and success are achieved through the POWER of thoughtful decision-making.

Allison understands the demands of maintaining and growing profitability, and the other pressures unique to the corporate environment. She has found a way to fuse her work with the mission of each company to deliver profound effects. The introduction of mindfulness practice in the workplace- remote or in-person- also provides measurable boosts in overall health, wellness, and productivity. The impact of KLARITY MINDSETTE is undeniable.
